Over the past couple years I’ve been trying to get an apartment in Crown Heights and Eretz Yisroel (Israel) and because of Hashgacha Protis (Divine Providence), Hashem and The Rebbe thought that it would be better if I had a very challenging time and very difficult experiences in this.
I won’t share the details, but It was very painfully frustrating, I was unable to find a long-term apartment, so I was staying in short-term apartments and couch surfing while living out of my suitcases.

In the Summer of 2024,
I came from Eretz Yisroel to Crown Heights to take a hair and Sheital (wig) cutting course, and to try to live there for at least the year...
Again, Hashem and The Rebbe guided me through very difficult experiences and sometimes not the most welcoming environments (to say the least), but little did I know, Hashem and The Rebbe were blessing me with these personal experiences...
Luckily, I have a best friend from childhood, a soul sister, who has been living in Crown Heights for the past few years, and she was the only one to reach out and host me with such warmth and kindness. She helped me find the most suitable apartment option for the time being, so actually, she was my Apartment Shadchan.
There, while staying in her apartment, Hashem and The Rebbe blessed me with a 'Wild Idea' called
'Your Apartment Shadchan'.​
If I had something like a Shadchan, to help match me with other like-minded girls looking to create a similar apartment environment, my whole experience would have been so much easier...
There are Shadchans for dating and marriage, and I thought there should be one for finding apartments and roommates as well.
​Hashem and The Rebbe blessed me with the opportunity, responsibility and abilities of being “The Nachshon” to bring this “Wild Project” to life and help women who might be going through very similar experiences as well.

As The Lubavitcher Rebbe says:
"If you see what needs to be repaired and how to repair it, then you have found a piece of the world that G-d has left for you to complete. But if you only see what is wrong and what is ugly in the world, then it is you yourself that needs repair."

Hashem is The Only, Real, True Shadchan (matchmaker) in every scenario in life.
​
He directs all of our and everyone's personal (and everything in the world) thoughts, speech, and actions perfectly, and has a reason for every single one of them,
specifically for our ultimate best outcome.-
This teaching is called Hashgacha Protis, and is brought to us by

Sometimes, while inside the difficult experiences, its hard to see that they are for our best, but since we can not see the future, and because the level of actual goodness and kindness that Hashem is giving us, is on a level that we; very limited human beings, cant accept because its so extremely good and comes from a space of limitless goodness, it might seem bad/horrific, or we might even feel "jinxed", but in truth,
The reasons and the amount of goodness it really is will absolutely blow our minds,
literally.
​The thing we Jewish humans and actually all humans, are here to learn is to try our best to live this understanding, specifically while inside the difficult, unrevealed moments, understanding that we are limited, Gd is limitless, and Hes actually doing the best for us, because He loves us so much, but we just cant see it yet. ​
This practice is called
-Bitachon-
Trust.
And the holy book called 'Shaar Habitachon' (Gate of Trust), written by Rabbeinu Bachya ibn Pekuda
teaches us how to live it.

'Your Apartment Shadchan' started as 2 Google Forms for girls to fill out to get matched with a suitable option they are looking for.
One form is for girls who are looking for like-minded roommates to hopefully find and share an apartment with, and the other form is for girls who already have an apartment and are looking to find another girl to fill a room/or sublet a room in their apartment.
Other than this website and the 2 forms, 'Your Apartment Shadchan' is an Instagram account, Facebook page, and global WhatsApp groups ​called 'Frum Girls Apartment Search'.
The goal of 'Your apartment Shadchan' is to make this world a Dira B'Tachtonim, (a Dwelling place for Gd) by helping create holy homes all over the world to host and bring back The Shechinah (Gds Holy Energy), filled with and spreading goodness and kindness, holiness, learning and sharing Torah, doing Mitzvos, living with unbreakable Emunah (faith) & Bitachon (trust), Yiras Shamayim (Awe/Fear of Heaven) & Ahavas Hashem (Love of Gd), Ahavas Yisroel (Love of our fellow Jew), Achdus (Unity), Shalom Bayis (Peace in the home),
light and positivity,
bringing True Joy, which is the purpose of being Jewish and the goal of being a Chabad Chossid in specific.
The faster and more of Hashem’s light and Shechinah and all of the vibes are invited into our homes, and spread to the whole world, the better, and the faster
Moshiach (Absolute World Peace and Ultimate Redemption) comes!
